“Search for nature”

Dominique Neyrod exhibits from February 1 to 13 at the Galerie du Montparnasse.

The opening will take place on Saturday February 1st from 5 p.m.

The gallery is open every day from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“My work finds its origin in my relationship with nature: an almost carnal attraction, felt always.

Nature as an organism, with its geometry, its rhythms, its internal structures, its materials, its colors, and above all its life abundant and elusive. Every summer, in the Gard, in front of the same hills, the same trees, the same embankments, I strive in countless sketchbooks to understand their internal life. Throughout the year, in the workshop, these notebooks provide the material for series of paintings, drawings, engravings where another reality is developed: that of the work with its own constraints, where research has become that of “pictorial fact”.”

Dominique Neyrod will show at the Galerie du Montparnasse a selection of drawings, engravings and paintings from the last 10 years.
